2015 Adelaide Hills Tempranillo Shiraz



Tempranillo, Spain’s most famous wine grape, coupled with Australia’s favourite red grape, Shiraz, creates a distinctive wine of power and finesse. Machine picked in late March from vineyards in Macclesfield, a sub-region well suited to these varieties, this wine was fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured for 18 months in old French barriques. Your senses will be stirred by the powerful aromas of clove, aniseed and leather atop a layer of dark chocolate, cherry and plum. The palate is rich, silky and fruit driven finishing with soft tannins and a thirst for more.
