2015 Langhorne Creek Montepulciano

A widely planted variety in central and southern Italy, the Montepulciano profits from the cool temperatures and low rainfall of Langhorne Creek, South Australia.  Handpicked in late March and fermented in open vats with native yeast, this wine is intense in colour with its crimson hue. Rich, flavourful and delicate, this medium body Montepulciano offers generous forest fruits, spices and savoury aromas. Appealing acidity, subtle, dry tannins and a persisting length all contribute to the deliciousness of this wine.
