2017 Langhorne Creek Lagrein

Lagrein, what is it? Pronounced lah-grah’een, this is not a common variety and that is exactly what we are after. Originating from Northern Italy at the Austrian border, Lagrein is very dark in colour with a fascinating blueish hue. Rich and flavourful, this wine offers aromas of chocolate, liquorice and white pepper on the nose. Silky tannins, wild berries, chocolate and cranberry juice defines this mouth, full of generosity.
