Description
Montepulciano is a highly suited and well established alternate variety in Langhorne Creek. We know it and that’s why we love crafting it. This vintage is lifted, its nose expresses aromas of cherry, vanilla, sarsaparilla, with earthy notes. The palate is juicy with intense wild berries, soft dry tannins and a savoury finish.
Hand harvested in late March and fermented in open vats with native yeast. 3 weeks of post ferment skin contact. Matured in oak for 20 months.
